Exclusive: Who Are We Now?

Who are we now ?

As we sit in bed at 2.30 on a Wednesday night eating pineapple because we are unable to sleep due to insomnia, our conversation is slowly becoming our confused reality. It's the talk of the real deep intimacy behind closed doors that happens with having a gay best Friend slowly merging into his drag persona everyday. A female trapped in a males body.

Pavie and I have hat the deepest connection possible since we first met two years ago. We started calling each other husband and wife, but on this night stuck in our dazed insomniac thoughts the roles have swapped and now I'm the husband and Pavie is the wife. As one things leads to another we are stuck in a world of confusion about who we really are.

The next night I'm standing in the shower shaving Pavie's chest, preparing him to get into drag, just like I was one year ago standing by his side strapping everything back for him, helping him get ready for his first time stepping outside into dressed completely as a female. The transformation of turning a male into a female. The feeling of making your best Friend feel at complete ease with who they are.

To you it might look like a world of gender confusion, but to us it's the true definition of the intimacy that happens with having a gay best Friend, it's a feeling of euphoria, two completely comfortable people with each other, coming to age in their early 20's. We are Pavie and Georgia.
