EXCLUSIVE: Watch Gosha Rubchinskiy's new film,'A day of my Death'

To coincide with the launch of his SS17 collection at Italy’s Pitti Uomo, lauded streetwear designer Gosha Rubchinskiyhas also released a 17-minute-long film. Entitled The Day of My Death, the black and white silent film is directed by Russian director and actress Renata Litvinova, who is also a friend of Rubchinskiy.
The film is set in the same abandoned tobacco factory as the SS17 show; but you’ll find no tracksuits or soon-to-be sought after graphics here. Featuring a cast of those close to the designer – and a cameo from Gosha himself – the short is a sleek piece, one that begins with palpable tension and ends in violence.
You can watch The Day of My Death below. You’ll have to wait a while for Gosha Rubchinskiy SS17, but Gosha’s AW16 collection will be arriving soon.
