The collection is inspired by classical sculpture and modern protest. The sculptures were inspired by the Greek Parthenon marbles in the British Museum, which depict a ferocious mythological battle. “In my digital sculptures (created using 3d scanning of real models) – I wanted to juxtapose the classical aesthetic with modern influence. So the figures have been replaced with riot police. The classical violence is now relating to current events and riot brutality.”
