LookBook: Michael Mrzyglod's 'Call of Duty' A/W14'15

Michael Mrzyglod presents his second collection for Fall/Winter 2014-15. Titled “Call of Duty“, the collection itself is a wry word play capturing the seemingly contradictory inspirations that lay at the basis of the collection itself. From Royal Airforce uniforms from the II WW through Coco Chanel tweeds to queer photography by Duane Michals, gay pornography and florals. Mixing and matching, the collection attempts to project a comprehensive narrative. It tells a personal, truly intimate story that stems directly from the designer’s own experience. Through the juxtaposition of colours, forms and textures, Call of Duty is all about constructing a shell for the fragility that lays beneath the surface.
