Usually Bobby starts thinking about his next collection when making the current one, this time he pushed this one aside and instead he focused on what he was doing currently.
"My Fall/Winter 2014 collection was very dark with the styling etc. so I’ve done a bit of a 180 with Spring/Summer 2015, things are a bit more upbeat and fitting for the season with the prints and so on."
to sum up this collection it is very fun and strong. Various and different fabrics have been used and a few new fabrics that bobby has never worked with before have come into play for this outstanding collections, as well as the bold colours.
the detail of most of the pieces are relaxed, so the silhouettes are mostly sports inspired.There is also some great embroidery pieces that are hard to miss as well as the accessories. They are very functional accessories, which is something he's never done before but they are perfect for the theme of this season.
In his own words he admits to be quite a selfish designer, meaning when he has his ideas and some sort of theme for the collection he always thinks what he would like to wear based on this, but then throughout the process of putting the collection together he starts to mix that with things everyone can wear. Quite a clever concept when designing!
