After attending London Fashion Week back in February i bumped into this amazing designer called Larry Tee who i talked to for a mere 10 minutes about who and what he does.
His style was amazing and so fun and unique. A pleasure to meet him!
The clothing label TZUJI is by Larry tee himself who is a major DJ star and a renowned trendsetter on the New York club and fashion scene!
Larry created musical hots that are inspiring now! As well as when they happened back in the days.
One memorable track was back in 1992 for RuPaul - You Better work. The biggest fashion anthem of all time.
In past career he also created the club Disco 2000 featuring Michael Alig at the Limelite in the mid-90's which featured in the cult movie called "Party Monster" featuring Macaulay culkin (which i do say is a great film, must watch).
This brought attention to the outrageous 'Clubkid' and their style that has been a big influence in the fashion world.
Larry even created his own Musical Genre called 'Electroclash' which was used for his festivals.
So after all the touring around the world as a DJ, Larry started outburst in to the Fashion world.
He started designing clothes that he could wear onstage that showed his amazing unique individual style.
This all started as an experiment but turned out more serious when some of his music friends started requesting him for some of his garments for their own Music Videos and shows.
The Garments were created in soft luxurious fabrics and the cool sportswear shapes were like high end version of street gear.
His New Collection is very trippy looking, from his patterns you get that look of a trip of LSD has been taken in a 90's rave which i love!
The shapes of the garments are very block and street wear-esque.
