KATIE EARY SS14

Katie Eary named her new Spring Summer collection “Flamingo Massacre” after Irvine Welsh’s novel ”Marabou Stork Nightmares”, an ugly, vicious novel about predatory young men who prey on women (in particular), devouring not only their humanity and identity but sometimes even their lives. Katie offered, as always, a flamboyant and striking interpretation wrapping her boys in tropical hues from corals to pinks, gigantic flamingos, hazy camo cloud and exotic leopard prints like as seen in her recent collection for the River Island Collaboration.
Katie Eary has always been my idol when it comes to Fashion. The use of her mesmerizing Graphical Prints to her magnificent colour palettes, she never fails to put on a show.
The collection shows influences of the Streetwear but she creates a baggy personalized twist to the garments structures.
