Joseph Turvey is a London based Menswear designer who recently completed his Masters from London College of Fashion in 2012 where he studied 'Fashion Design Technology'.
He began his first experience with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Womenswear Fashion Design. His interest in exploring traditional pattern cutting techniques and transferring them to unconventional fabrics soon became apparent with his first womenswear collection which was showcased at Graduate fashion week.
After completing his degree he began interning for London based designers Katie Eary (which now also has a Collaboration with River Island) and Louise Gray and illustrating for numerous fashion publications.

Joseph Turvey has been working with River Island to release a Capsule collection for 2014 showcasing his eye catching illustrations ad his experimental take on Fabrication.From Camouflage to Luxe Sportswear,The capsule collection has been debuted at London Collections: Mens in This January, the collection is now available in selected stores and the River Island online site www.RiverIsland.com . The collection rays upon subtle Pink Camouflage and matching Jersey Sets.
What i love about this collection is the use of Pastel Pink and one issue in Fashion many people think the camo print is 'Tacky' Me personally i like it but it has to be softened down and this collection really does just that! I get from this collection is a 90's street style vibe, from the shapes of the items such as the low crotch Jogger piece and the High Top Trainers!
A film has been produced, which has been directed by the renowned director Alex Turvey, (You can check out his work here at: www.AlexTurvey.com) to celebrate the launch. This video was also shown at his Show at LC:M back in January!
